Jaipur Metro Route, Stations, Timings, Fare Structure, and Future Expansion Plans
Jaipur Metro is an important public transport system that helps people travel easily across the Pink City. As Jaipur continues to grow in population, tourism, and vehicle numbers, traffic congestion has become a major issue. To solve this problem, the Jaipur Metro Rail Project was introduced to provide fast, affordable, and reliable urban transport.
The metro system is owned and operated by the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC). It uses modern rail technology similar to other metro systems in India. The metro runs on standard gauge tracks with 25 kV AC electric power supplied through overhead lines. Each train has four coaches and is designed for smooth and safe travel within the city.
