In total, land from 14 villages in Agra, 18 in Dholpur, and 30 in Morena has been acquired. Most legal and compensation processes are already completed, helping the project move quickly towards the construction phase.

Contractor and Construction Timeline

The construction contract has been awarded to GR Infraprojects Ltd (GRIL) in March 2025. The expressway will be built under the DBFOT (Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Transfer) model. Previously split into three packages, it has now been restructured into a single-package EPC model to speed up execution.

Construction is expected to start by November 2025, with the project targeted for completion by 2028.
