The new building is spread over two levels, departures on the upper floor and arrivals on the lower floor.
Multi-Level Car Parking & Taxi Track
A multi-level car park near the terminal has space for around 750 vehicles. It also has a pedestrian bridge connected to the departure area. A brand-new aircraft taxi track, 1,389 meters long, was built for smoother aircraft movement.
An isolation bay over 12 acres has also been constructed as a special emergency parking space for planes.

The interiors of the new terminal beautifully represent Bihar’s rich history and culture. You’ll find Madhubani art, paintings of Gautam Buddha, Lord Mahavira, and illustrations of the Bodhi tree.
