Purpose and Vision

The expressway was announced by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in 2018. The main goal is to ease travel between Gorakhpur and Azamgarh and to link the region to the Purvanchal Expressway. This will allow seamless connectivity to Lucknow, Agra, and even Delhi.
