blog

The Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB) was established on July 5, 1968, through an act of the state legislature. Its primary objective is to provide affordable housing to people in urban and semi-urban areas, helping to address the severe housing shortage in Odisha. OSHB aims to make housing accessible to all socio-economic groups while ensuring environmental balance.

Vision of OSHB

OSHB is committed to meeting the growing housing demand in Odisha. The board works closely with the Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Department to implement the "Houses for All" mission, aiming to eliminate slums in the state.
